  2. Goal LabAdmin is a EE faculty web based system for managing laboratories projects and experiments The project’s goal: building an android client application for LabAdminexperiments module using SOAP protocol connections (WEB services) to LabAdmin system

  3. System Objectives The LabAdmin EXP (henceforth called the system) is a Module Android software application to assist in displaying the available experiments in the Electrical Engineering faculty labs Provide the student the ability to connect to the LabAdmin EXP system via Android platforms Simplify the process of getting experiments information using a suitable and simple graphical user interface (GUI) Increase the availability of experiments information Increase the availability of student's information regarding certain experiments

System Context The system is used by students The system shall provide a graphical user interface (GUI) as part of the student’s working desktop environment, which will be used for displaying experiments information and notifications Particular information will be available offline The system is always updated with the latest experiments information according to the server database

  5. Functional Requirements Connect and login to the LabAdmin web service Logout from the LabAdmin web service Display available experiments in a course (lab1, lab2 or lab3) Display experiments list to which the student is registered to Display detailed information about an experiment Display student's messages list sent through the LabAdmin Display a message content Notify the student about a coming experiment date Notify the student about coming tasks Notifying the user when no internet connection is available

  6. Non-Functional Requirements Performance Low memory utilization The system will provide 2 layouts for the GUI (portrait and landscape)

  7. Future Requirements The ability to register to experiments using the system Administrator mode
