  2. Money Exchange • 1 pound= $ 1.50 dollars (London) • 1 euro= $1.30 dollars (Paris) • iPhone Apps- Currency Exchange Apps • Best rate to exchange money is before hand at your own bank. Ask a few days before you need it- not the night before! • ATMs around the city to pull out more cash if needed. VISA and MasterCard used everywhere.

  3. Tipping Remember tipping!!! These are the suggested tipping amounts- • Tour Director- $6 per day/ total $54 • Bus Drivers- $3 per day/ total $27 • Local Guides (4)- $1 per person/ $4 total Roughly Total- $85

  5. Extra Excursions 1. Free Time in London • Westminster- 8 pounds= $10.50 • The Globe performance- 5 pounds= $7.00 Total- $10.50 because we are covering the Globe Theatre performance! Yay! ** We’d like to collect this money at the May 28th meeting.

  6. Carry Around Money This totally depends on how much you eat and how much you like to shop.  I budget for 15 pounds= $23 a day. (a good lunch, drink, bathroom, tip etc.) This doesn’t include any souveniors.

  7. What if I run out of money? What happens if you don’t bring cleats to your game? It’s going to be uncomfortable to play! Suggestions- • Set up a debit card with your bank that parent and student knows the pin number to. Parents can see online what they are spending.  • Bring a credit card. VISA and Master Card accepted at most places worldwide.

  8. What is a Euro? What is a pound? Let’s look at some cash!!! Coins are used more often in these countries! They won’t exchange coins to cash when we go back home! Spend your coins!

  14. Iphones-earbuds • You are spending a lot of money (parents) for an experience of a life time. Don’t get cut short by not getting the full experience. • -No ear-buds except for long travel times not involving a tour- plane-bus-ferry
