Production Quadrupole Yokes and Clamp Plates • 42 QFs poles have been wire eroded and returned from Metric (sub contractor) and are awaiting painting. • 20 QDs have been assembled • One in five yokes have been measured at Tesla and are within tolerance • Clamp plates laminations have been punched. Stacking and bonding is in progress • Delivery July 16 – Oct 18

  8. Production coils • All coils are wound and over wrapped • 44 QD and 66 QF coils are potted • Brazing and bending of terminations is in progress

Production Cavities Machining • Machining is complete • EB welding in progress • Brazing • Re measure Frequency & Q • Dimensional checks • Chemical etching • Clean • Assemble and pump down • Measure F & Q • Leak Check • Bakeout • RGA & vacuum measurement • Delivery of 7 batches 10 Jul – 10 Sep E B welding
