  5. Area Source MACTs • EPA rulemaking to exempt from Title V all but secondary lead production facilities

  6. Title V Renewals • No extensions of submittal timeline • Testing required by initial permit must be done before renewal submitted • Continue to operate under terms of initial permit if timely and complete renewal application filed (application shield)

  7. Emission Inventory Audits • DNR audits of EIQs • Still finding many errors in submittals • Math errors, conversion errors, units of measure errors • Incorrect emission factors • Inflated and unjustified emission factors • Issues resolved by audit follow-up or during application reviews
