    7. Important Note In order to see ordinance information, you must include your membership number and confirmation date.

    9. Login You only need to select the box, I am a member of the church the first time you register with your membership information. After that first time, leave it blank!

    10. International Genealogical Index The IGI is the only option that includes ordinance information!

    12. Search Criteria You must select a region to have a valid search.

    15. You may get different results depending on how much information you provide. (ie. Parent names)

    19. Message Field Read the message field carefully! LDS deceased membership records are now included in the IGI. This record may include living ordinances!

    20. Adding New Info in PAF When you find information you want to add to your PAF file you can do so by- Typing It In Copy/ Paste method Copy-(Cntl-C) Paste-(Cntl-V) -Triple Click 3 clicks of the left mouse button on the date in the I-IGI will highlight dates You must still Copy/Paste

    22. Supplemental Info -on www.familysearch.org Using the Social Security Index on www.familysearch.org is a good tool for finding out a death date.

    23. Social Security Death Index This index is great to use if you are looking for a death date or place.
