  4. Church Announcement GOPCC United Prayer Call Please join us every Monday as we unite together on our weekly prayer call at 7pm for the year 2014. To join the call, dial (661)673-8600, enter the passcode 1045065# and confirm the correct passcode by entering 1.

  5. Prayer Request Do you have a Prayer Request? If so, please see the Open Arms ministry for a Prayer Request Card.

  6. Church Announcement Sunday School/Children’s Church All parents are asked to complete an information form for your children aged 4-13. This form will enable the Judah Ministry Workers to know necessary food allergies and other pertinent information for your child. The form is not necessary for your child to attend children's church but it will impact our ability to serve snacks and play activities. Please see a ministry worker for a form today. All forms are due today.

  7. Church Announcement Sing unto the Lord a NEW Song! Praise & Worship Ministry Rehearsals will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10am. All disciples please mark your calendars accordingly. Anyone interested in joining us in song & praise please see First Lady of Min. of Music Gloria Harvey.

  9. Church Announcement GOPCC Prayer Saturday Please join us every third Saturday beginning February 15that 5pm for the GOPCC Prayer Service. This is a special time to connect with the Lord!

Save the Date 8th Pastoral and 4th Church Anniversary Kick-Off Worship Service Join us for our kick-off worship service on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 7:30pm as we celebrate our 8th Pastoral and 4th Church Anniversary. Our guest speaker will be Pastor Peter Spann of Promised Land Baptist Church. Please invite your friends & family to share with us during our first worship service.

Save the Date 8th Pastoral and 4th Church Anniversary - Gospel Jazz Brunch GOPCC will host a Gospel Jazz Brunch in honor of our Pastoral & Church Anniversary on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10am. Guest speaker Pastor G. M. Greene of The Messiah’s Bible Church will deliver the message of the hour. The brunch will be held at the Sheraton in Columbia, MD. The cost of the tickets is $35 per adult. We are offering a discounted early bird special of $30 per person for those who pay in full by Sunday, February 23, 2014. Our special guest preacher will be Bishop Billy Saint-James of Spirit of the Living God Christian Center. Please invite your friends & family to share with us during our worship service.

  16. Black History Month Otis Boykin was born on August 29, 1920, in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Fisk College in 1941, he worked at P. J. Nilsen Research Laboratories. With this knowledge, he began to invent products on his own. Some of his noteworthy inventions including a wire precision resistor used in televisions, radios, guided missiles, IBM computers, and a control unit for the pacemaker.
