  2. Fiction • First of all, fiction is any piece of work that was invented by the author. This means that while elements of the story may be true, the story on the whole is imaginary.

  3. Science Fiction • This means that science fiction is a type of fiction that involves imaginative content which is usually in a futuristic setting (a place in the future). In a work of science fiction, you may find content such as futuristic science and technology, space travel, time travel, parallel universes and extraterrestrial life.

  4. What is a Parallel Universe? • A parallel universe is the idea that there is a universe that exists besides your own. Not only that, but it is thought that both universes interact with and impact each other.

  5. What is Extraterrestrial Life? • Extraterrestrial life is defined as living things or beings that are not of the Earth. The word Extraterrestrial can be broken down like this: Extra is Latin for “beyond” and terrestris is Latin for “belonging to the Earth”.
