Learn how to create a cutting list for woodworking projects efficiently. Choose names for each part, add materials, quantities, and dimensions. Don't forget to account for extra measurements needed for the handle and Vee groove.

Cutting List Now draw out you cutting list table and add the part names
Cutting List Next fill in the materials column

Cutting List Finally add the length, width and thickness of each part.
Handle Remember to add about 30mm extra to the length of wood required for the handle. This will take account of the Vee groove you will have to cut in one end to support the wood in the forked centre. You also need to add a little to the diameter to take account of machining losses. Vee Groove
