  4. Linking Ambulatory Orders to a Research Study The most significant change for Research in Epic 2018 is the implementation of the Visit Taskbar for Ambulatory ordering workflows. Linking outpatient orders to a research study now occurs by clicking Options in the right corner of the shopping cart and selecting Research Association.   5. Cost Estimates Now Display When Ordering Another new feature is estimated costs now display when searching for orders.
