  1. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS

  2. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Specialist uplighters: these lights are fitted between the columns of a concrete framed office building. When the light levels in the room reach a certain level, the lamps automatically switch off to save energy.

  3. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS The specialist uplighters are controlled by a control button and a passive infra-red (P.I.R.) movement detector. The detector switches the lamps on when somebody enters a room. The lamps turn off automatically 15 minutes after somebody has left the room.

  4. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS The uplighters in this image are designed to reflect light off the white ceiling, and to give an even spread of light across the room.

  5. Recessed downlight, suitable for use in suspended ceilings.

  6. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS These lamps are also controlled by P.I.R.s (indicated by the red arrow.)

  7. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Emergency bulkhead light. This type of lamp can be used to illuminate emergency escapes. The image on the next slide shows the P.I.R. which controls the light.

  8. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS P.I.R.

  9. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS • Recessed modular luminaires. The lamps lie flush in exposed grid ceiling systems and can be installed into concealed fix ceilings.

  10. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS High bay reflector luminaires with 1.5m pre-installed cable. They have aluminium housings with anodised and painted finishes and can have aluminium, plastic or glass reflectors.

  11. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS The luminaires in the above image are mounted using suspension wires. They can also be fixed to a circular junction box to which the fitting is attached. Wires are fixed either to the primary ceiling grid (for suspended ceilings) or to the building soffit.

  12. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Batten luminaire, suitable for use in workshops, storage rooms etc.

  13. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Track mounted spotlight with fixed beam angles. The reflectors have facets that mix the light rays to ensure a uniform colour temperature within the light beam. Electrical track connection is made using the track adaptor, which locates quickly with a clockwise turn of the fixing lever.

  14. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Recessed low-voltage downlights with fixed lamp position.

  15. Recessed low-voltage "eyeball" down light with adjustable lamp position.

  16. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Horizontal rectangular wall-recessed black luminaire for fitting directly into a wall or a dedicated housing. An external application is shown on the next slide.

  17. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS

  18. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Ceiling recessed fire exit sign, for interior use. It maintains emergency lighting for 3 hours, and is used to illuminate escape routes.

  19. LIGHTING APPLICATIONS Self-contained twin emergency luminaire with 3-hour duration. Lamps are angled to illuminate escape routes. Powered by two maintenance-free 12 volt sealed lead-acid batteries

  20. Recessed luminaires for integration with exposed grid suspended ceilings, with 600mm modular dimensions.
