  2. Nuestros objetivos: Students will be able to describe people and things. Students will be able to talk about things they like and dislike and explain why they feel this way. Students will be able to conjugate the verb “Ser” in the present tense.

  3. Describing People and Things… • ¿Cómo es tu compañero nuevo? • (What’s your new friend like?) • El es alto. (He istall) • Ella es alta. (She is tall) • ¿Cómo es la clase? (How’stheclass?) • Es aburrida.(It’s boring) • ¡Es emocionante! (it’s exciting)

  17. Los Adjetivos Adjectives are words that describe people and things. Learn these adjectives and you will be able to talk about people and things in more detail.

  32. Adjective Agreement una clase divertida un libro divertido unos libros divertidos unas clases divertidas

  33. Adjective Agreement To describe one person or thing, use es+ a singular adjective: El libroesdivertido. La claseesdivertida.

  34. Adjective Agreement To describe more than one person or thing, use son + a plural adjective: Los libros son divertidos. Las clases son divertidas.

  35. Adjective Agreement If you are describing a group of males and females, use a masculine plural adjective: Mis compañeros son simpáticos. Adjectives ending in e or a consonant (l, r, n) have only a singular and plural form. To make these adjectives plural add s or es. Interesanteinteresantes difícil difíciles
