Offline Login: When the network connection is abnormal and you fail to log in to the UniSTAR eCFG, you can log in to the UniSTAR eCFG in offline mode and perform configuration and quotation. 1 Double-click the shortcut icon of the UniSTAR eCFG Partner on the desktop. 2 Select a login mode. 3 Enter the Uniportal account or click to select the QID file. 4 Enter the password. 5 Select the server or Local from the Log in to drop-down list. 6 Click Login.

  11. Installing the Data Package At the first login to the UniSTAR eCFG, the dealer cannot download the data package due to the lack of the permission to download product data. The dealer needs to obtain the permission from the agent data package prepared by the product manager. After the data package is installed, the UniSTAR eCFG will prompt you to upgrade the local data when new data is released on the server. 1 Log in to the UniSTAR eCFG online . 2 In the Information dialog box, click OK. 3 Select a data package and click Open. 4 In the Install Data dialog box, click Yes.

Upgrading the UniSTAR eCFG for Partner Online After you log in to the UniSTAR eCFG online, the UniSTAR eCFG prompts you to upgrade the UniSTAR eCFG when a new version is released. 1 Log in to the UniSTAR eCFG online, The UniSTAR eCFG prompts you to upgrade the software. 2 Click OK. 3 In the Software Upgrade Tip dialog box, click Restart Now. After the software is upgraded, you can log in again to use the new version of the UniSTAR eCFG.

  13. Upgrading the UniSTAR eCFG for Partner Offline In the case of poor network performance, you need to import the local product data package to update the data package. You have installed an earlier version of the UniSTAR eCFG client on your local computer. 1 Double-click the installation program of the latest version of the UniSTAR eCFG. 2 Click Yes.The system is automatically upgraded to the latest version.

Upgradingthe Data Package Online(1) If a new version of the data package exists on the server, the dealer can log in to the UniSTAR eCFG online and upgrade the data package according to the system messages or manually upgrade it later. • To upgrade the data package as prompted, perform the following steps: 1 Log in to the UniSTAR eCFG online, The UniSTAR eCFG prompts you to upgrade the data package. 2 Click OK.

  15. Upgradingthe Data Package Online(2) • To manually upgrade a data package in online mode, perform the following steps: 1 Choose Upgrade > Upgrade Software and Data from the Menu Bar. 2 In the Upgrade Software and Data area, select the product data and price data, click Download.

  18. Creating a Project(1) You can create a quotation bill after obtaining business and commercial requirements from customers by analyzing a tender. The quotation bill includes product configuration information and quotation information that can be quickly generated by using the UniSTAR eCFG. In the UniSTAR eCFG, the configuration information and quotation information about a product is managed as a project. 1 Choose Project > New from the Menu Bar. 2 Enter the basic information about a project. 3 Click OK.

  19. Creating a Project(2) In the UniSTAR eCFG, you can export an .xls quotation bill for each solution. Each quotation bill has a unique identifiable bill number. 4 In the Add Equipment Solution dialog box, enter the basic information about the solution. 5 Click OK.

  20. Creating a Project(3) For the transport network, you need to create a subnet under a solution and then add products under the subnet node. 6 Right-click a solution node and choose New Subnet from the shortcut menu. 7 The newly created subnet nodes are displayed under the solution node.

  21. Adding a product—Adding a main equipment Before configuration and quotation, you need to add the products to be sold to the UniSTAR eCFG. Adding the spare parts, loose parts, and power supply is similar to Adding the main equipment. 1 Right-click a solution node and choose Add Products. For a transmission network solution, right-click a subnet node and choose Add Products from the shortcut menu. 2 Select the main equipment and version, and then click OK.

  22. Configuring a Product(1) After adding the product, set the product properties, parameters, and part number. The following section uses configuring the main equipment as an example. Configuring the loose parts and power supply is similar to configuring the main equipment. 1 Double-click the main device node and click the Product Properties tab. 2 Double-click the Site/Quantity column,configure the product's logical site, and the quantity of products under this site. Click to configure the sites, parameters and quantity of products of a same series in batches. 3 • Configure parameters of the main device: • click the Configure Wizard tab. • Based on the parameter information in the Parameter column, configure the parameters of the main device in the Input column. • Click Save.

Configuring a Product(2) After the product is configured, the UniSTAR eCFG automatically calculate the number of parts associated with the product and displays it in the Equipment Quantity column of the Bill of Configuration. 4 Select the Bill of Configuration tab. 5 In the EquipmentQuantity column, change the number of parts. Enter values in the yellow area. The modified values on the Bill of Configuration tab page are not synchronized on the Configure Wizard tab page.

Adding a Product Support Service 1 • In the Configuration Navigator area, right-click a solution and choose Add Service from the shortcut menu. 2 • In the Add Services dialog box, select Product Support Service, and click OK. 3 • Double-click a product in a solution and view the maintenance service that is added by the eCFG on the Bill of Configuration tab. 4 To add a maintenance service to the default one for a product, click Add Maintenance on the Bill of Configuration tab. 5 In the Select a part to add maintenance service dialog box, select the maintenance service to be added and click OK.

Adding a Training Service(1) Adding a training service in the UniSTAR eCFG as required. 1 Right-click a project node and choose Add Learning Service Solution from the shortcut menu. 2 In Project Navigator, right-click a training service solution node and choose Add Products from the shortcut menu.

  29. Adding Other Services 1 • In the Configuration Navigator area, right-click a solution and choose the Service. 2 • In the Add Services dialog box,select the services that you want to add. Click OK. 3 • If the eCFG adds the service subnode to the Service node in the Configuration Navigator tree. The service is added successfully.

Configuring a Product Support Service 1 In the Configuration Navigator area, double-click the product for which you want to configure a maintenance service. 2 On the MaintenanceService tab, set Type, Level, and Duration(Year). 3 On the Bill of Configuration tab, set the number of maintenance services for the desired phase.

  31. Configuring an Implementation service 1 Double-click a device and click the Service Configuration tab. 2 On the Bill of Configuration tab, set information related to implementation services in the Equipment Quantity column.

Configuring an One-Off Implementation service 1 In the Configuration Navigator tree, double-click One-Off Implementation Service node under Service. 2 • In the Site/Quantity column, set the site that require one-off implementation services. 3 • In the Input column, set the number of one-off implementation services. 4 On the Bill of Configuration tab page,  view the information related to one-off implementation services.

Configuring WLAN Network Design 1 In Project Navigator, double-click WLAN Network Design under Service and click the Product Properties tab. 2 In the Site/Quantity column, set the site that require wlan network design service. 3 • Click the Configure Wizard tab. Set the number of required products. 4 Click the Bill of Configuration tab. In the Quantity column, set the number of wlan network design service.

Configuring a Training Service Set the parameters of the training service after you add a training service. 1 Configure the training service parameters: Double-click a training service node and click the Configure Wizard tab. Configure the location of training, number of attendees, accommodation fees for the training service in the Input column based on the parameter information in the Parameter column. Click Save. 2 View and modify the number of training service parts: Click the Bill of Configuration tab page. In the Number Of Trainees column on the Bill of Configuration tab page, view or modify the number of trainees. Click Save.

Setting a Commerce and Discount(1) INCOTERMS tab Enables you to set the currency name, trade terms and quotation methods for transportation and insurance. 1 Double-click the solution node and click the INCOTERMS tab. 2 Set commerce attributes based on commerce parameters in the Property column. 3 • Set the freight and insurance fees. • If Trade Type is set to Explicit, you can enter the freight and insurance fees in the Explicit area. • If Trade Type is set to Embedded, you can adjust the trade coefficients of Huawei hardware and Huawei software to transfer the freight and insurance fees to the product price in the Embedded area. • If Trade Type is set to Embedded+Explicit, you can enter the freight and insurance fees and adjust the trade coefficients in the Explicit area and Embedded area.

Setting a Commerce and Discount(3) You can set discounts for the sales products by product type. 1 • click the Product Discount tab on the Discount tab page. 2 In the Discount column on the Product Discount tab page, set a product discount. 3 Click Save to save changed contents. Click Reload to restore the contents that is changed but not saved to the previous contents saved.

  41. Setting a Commerce and Discount(7) Configure one-off deductions, discounts or special offers. 1 Select the Special Discount tab on the Discount tab page. 2 set a special discount.

Exporting a Quotation(1) The UniSTAR eCFG checks the output options before exporting a quotation bill, and then identifies output options that does not meet the requirements. 1 Right-click the project node or solution node and choose Output Quotation from the shortcut menu. 2 In the Select Solution area, select solutions and click Next.

  43. Exporting a Quotation(2) 3 The system starts to check the solution data. The items that do not pass the check will be marked with a . Click Next to view the error data. 4 View the suggestions for revising the error configuration and quotation here. 5 Modify the error information and then click Next.

  44. Exporting a Quotation(3) During configuration and quotation, the UniSTAR eCFG cannot calculate the quantities or prices of the associated products in real time. In this case, you need to use the non-realtime calculation function to trigger the calculation of associated products. 6 (Optional)Select the product for non-realtime calculation, clickCalculate.

  45. Exporting a Quotation(4) After the system checks the output items and performs real-time calculation, the Output Configuration dialog box is displayed. Select a quotation format based on the customer's requirement. All in one is a generic and simple format. The solutions that use this format can generate quotations in the same structure. If you select this format, you can manually copy the product quotation of different product lines into one quotation. 7 Select a quotation format. 8 On the Basic and Advanced tab pages, set the options to be displayed in the quotation. 9 Click Output.

Deleting Formulas and Macros from a Quotation Bill (1) The quotation bill exported from the UniSTAR eCFG contains formulas and macros, and you need to delete these formulas and macros when the quotation bill is submitted to the customer. 1 After Generating a Quotation Bill in the UniSTAR eCFG, open the quotation bill. 2 Choose Add-Ins->UniSTAR CFG Tools from the menu bar of the Excel quotation bill. 3 Choose the following menu items from the UniSTAR CFG Tools menu to delete related macros and formulas.

  48. The generated quotation—BOQ With Price The quotation in Normal format containing price information is shown in the following figure. The quotation contains discount, parameters, cover, L1 summary and L2 summary, and each sheet describes the parts for only one product.
