  2. ABOUT JAN - SHORT INTRO If you’d lived in the DC Metro area, you’d recognize JAN FOX right away. She was a 4-Time Emmy Winning journalist at CBS WUSA 9 for almost 20 years! Before that… a Talk Show Host on ABC in Boston and the 6&11 PM Anchor on NBC in Portland, ME. For life after TV, Jan put up the shingle– Fox Talks – teaching you, 100’s of audiences, and her coaching clients to Sharpen Your SPEAKability. Her book, GET YOURSELF on TV, gives you INsider secrets to get INside the studio. She’s on the board of the National Speakers Association DC chapter. Little known fact – She sent something LIVE in a box that snagged the Channel 9 job. You’ll have to ask her!

Before that… at ABC in Boston and NBC in Portland, ME. She retired to play golf and live sanely ever after. Didn’t happen. People and businesses from every corner started asking her to speak on SPEAKing and to coach them to be better speakers. Jan put out her shingle – FOX TALKS - and went to work, never looking back. She loves taking the fear out of scared speakers, or working with high tech sales teams, or carving out a talk for someone with a difficult story to tell. Her clients include Marriott, Verizon, International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Crematories (She only has gold fish! – She’ll have to explain), many other associations; Agilex, WeddingWire.com., and more corporations, plus just about every government agency in DC. Jan’s hot speaking topics are: Sharpen Your SPEAKability and SPEAK Better. SELL More. Bottom-line!
