  2. Introduction • What got me interested and being a Electrician is First they get paid a good amount of money. When I see different people come over to my house to fix like light problems or something I get really interested because I like wonder maybe one day I would like to do this. I find myself very interested in electricity and different wires and stuff so its pretty cool to see Electricians do work outside and inside my house at the same time.

  3. Nature of Work • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

  4. Working Conditions 1.Work about 8hrs 2.Always make sure you bring the right equipment for inside and outside work. 3. Always work inside 4. Never have any breaks on the job 5. Always make sure you have the right tools for outside work conditions.

  5. Training, Qualification, Advancement • You have to have a High School Diploma I plan on going to college to get this Degree to be a Professional Electrician. I would like to go to Macomb Community College because I think it would be a good college for me and I live close to the college. And get a Degree in begin a Electrician. A couple classes that you would have to take to be a Electrician would be Intro to Building Renovations, Algebra, Marketing and Marketing Renovations.

Related Occupation • My Back up would have to be a Banker because they get paid a good amount of money and it depends on what you do at the back so if you a person who works at the desk you get paid a good amount of money so as far as that would have to be my back Career if I could not be a Electrician.

  9. Summary • After Researching about begin a Electrician I have decided yes I am still interested in begin a Electrician because they get paid good amount of money. What I look Forward to the most is the different things I will be doing on the job and then helping out other people with there problems that they have going on in there house hold or outside of there household I will be there to help out. The one thing I don’t like about this career is barley any breaks on the job. My overall learning experience would have to be finding out about all the different things that make up a Electrician.
