An Archaeological Field School will be launched on June 6, 2012, at the Old Kiyyangan Village in Kiangan, Ifugao. This initiative, run by the University of Guam in collaboration with the Save the Ifugao Terraces Movement, Inc., the National Museum of the Philippines, Ifugao State University, the University of the Philippines, and the Kiangan Local Government Unit, aims to promote cultural heritage and education. Additionally, a final cave assessment of Pangagawan Cave will occur from June 13 to 15, 2012, to ensure its preparation for public access.

Final Cave Assessment The final cave assessment of Pangagawan Cave at Bolog, Kiangan is set on June 13 to 15, 2012 by a team from DENR, Kiangan LGU, SITMo and BarangayBolog. The cave will be thoroughly assessed before it will be opened to the public.
