  3. Installing VDClient on the DCN Control PC • Requirements: • DCNNG software already installed on the PC • LBB4184 (Video Display Software Module) • ClientSetup.exe DCN Control PC LBB4184 ClientSetup.exe DCNNG VC IO

  5. Step 2 Install the ClientSetup.exe DCNNG VC IO

  6. Step 3 Start the DCNNG software • Choose the desired applications • Don’t forget to choose the Video Display Application! • Start the applications DCNNG VC IO

  7. Step 4 Start VDClient • VDClient is located in the programs list in the Windows Start menu DCNNG VC IO

  8. Menu F12 • When starting the application for the first time you will come automatically in the configuration window. • Choose Program runs on DCN Operator PC. • If needed adjust also other settings and click OK DCNNG VC IO

Installing VDClient on another PC • Requirements : • DCNNG software already installed on the DCN Control PC • LBB4184 (Video Display Software Module) • ServerSetup.exe • ClientSetup.exe • TCP/IP protocol must have been installed at both PC’s • Both PC’s must be in the same workgroup DCN Control PC LBB4184 ServerSetup.exe VDClientPC ClientSetup.exe TCP/IP DCNNG VC IO

  12. Step 1 Set IP address of DCN Control PC • The IP addres of the DCN Control PC must be set to 192.168.100.1 DCNNG VC IO

  13. Step 2 Set Subnet mask of DCN Control Control PC • The Subnet mask of the DCN Control PC must be set to 255.255.255.0 DCNNG VC IO

  15. Step 3 Set IP address of the client PC • The IP addres of the DCN Control PC must be set to 192.168.100.2 DCNNG VC IO

  16. Step 4 Set Subnet mask of the Client PC • The Subnet mask of the other PC must be set to 255.255.255.0 DCNNG VC IO

  17. Technical Tips • If more client PC’s have to be installed the same steps have to made also for those PC’s. • Each client PC must have a unique IP address • IP address 192.168.100.x ( x = decimal value) • All PC’s must have the same Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 DCNNG VC IO
