  3. Exception: Affirmative sentence + any = meaning “qualquer” Negative sentences + some = offers, requests Which colour do you want? It doesn’t matter. You can pickany. Would you like some coffee? Can you lend me some money?

  4. What about “no”? It’s used in affirmative sentences with negative meaning. Exemplo: There is no food here!

  5. SOME, ANY, NO - FORMING COMPOUNDS We’d like something to eat. We’re hungry! You look worried! Is anything wrong? There isn’t anybody here! There is nobody here!
