  2. Reconstructing Afghanistan • Turn to page 27. • Read everything under the title “Reconstructing Afghanistan”. The reading continues until p. 29. (Stop when you see “Pakistan and it Role in Afghanistan”) Also, turn to page 34. Find the photo in the upper left-hand corner. Read the caption (paragraph) under the photo. • Take notes on some of the challenges to reconstruction and stability in Afghanistan. • keep in mind Afghanistan’s history • Who do you think is to blame for Afghanistan’s continued instability?

  3. We will begin discussing the invasion of Iraq in 2003 on Monday. Please be sure to have access to an electronic or paper copy of Choices Document #3: US Invasion of Iraq.
