Project CASE: Empowering Students with Developmental Disabilities for Academic Success

Project CASE aims to assist students with developmental disabilities in navigating higher education and achieving academic and employment success. Funded by a $1.1 million grant from the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, this initiative partners with Texas Tech University, South Plains College, and local business leaders. By developing customized wraparound plans and providing mentorship opportunities, the project seeks to graduate 10 students within five years. Enrolled students receive support to complete their degrees, gain internships, and enhance their employability through tailored strategies.
