  1. How to get Freedom From Emotional Eating? Food is the first mood-altering chemical that we humans encounter. As we learn to accept nourishment and then to feed ourselves, we also absorb the behaviors and eating patterns of our caregivers and adapt to the emotions and circumstances of our environment. We carry these influences throughout our lives, even when they become destructive to our health and well-being. If your eating behaviors don’t match your goals, then this workshop is for you. Whether you overeat, undereat, fluctuate back and forth, or do both at the same time, this workshop helps you see your current struggles with food through the lens of your personal history.

  2. By participating in and processing meals together, you will learn to identify and then separate your eating from your contradictory emotions and thoughts. Through group discussions, activities and homework assignments, you will use all of your senses, skills and talents to move beyond insight to action and set the stage for permanent change. Open to men and women and limited to six attendees, this workshop is led by Remuda Ranch at The Meadows Senior Fellow Jessica Setnick, with compassion, wisdom, and hope for tomorrow.
