  1. How to Get Movie Ticket Discounts on BookMyShow A quick guide to show you how to make the most of and pay the least for your online movie tickets on India’s Largest Entertainment Ticketing Portal

Getting to the Offers Section • You would already be familiar with this, the Booking Review Screen, from our last slideshow on “How To Book Movie Tickets Online on BookMyShow”. • In this presentation, we will walk you through 5 simple steps on how to get some amazing discounts on those Movie Tickets that you are booking. • You will notice at the bottom left of the screen, a tab saying “Avail Offers” which you should definitely click on.

  3. Offer Categories • Now you have 4 major categories to choose from to get those discounts on tickets: • First, if you have an Offer Code, you can simply enter it in the box that is highlighted at the top. • Second, you can check for Credit Card offer from your bank. • Third, your bank could be running offers along with some of their Debit Cards. • And fourth, your mobile service provider such as Vodafone or Idea could have some special Telecom Offers for you.

  4. Credit Card Offers • Clicking on the Credit Card section would bring you to this screen with a list of all the current offers running for specific Credit Cards from a variety of financial institutions, such as SBI, Visa, RBL and much more. • To make your life a little easier, you can also directly enter your Credit Card Number at the top of the screen and see what offers apply for you.

  5. Debit Card Offers • The Debit Card tab will lead you to this screen with all the latest and greatest offers for Debit Card users, from companies like Axis Bank, Visa, IDFC Bank and others. • Again, instead of scrolling through the entire list to find an offer, simply enter your Debit Card number at the top of the screen to filter out all the non-applicable offers.

  6. Telecom Offers • Sometimes, telecom companies or phone service providers also run special offers for their customers on BookMyShow as evidenced here by Idea and Vodafone. • Upon selecting the Telecom tab you will land here. These offers may not be as many in number as the Credit or Debit Card Offers, but can still help you save a bunch on your Movie going experience.
