Tom's Adventurous Day DLM

Tom's adventurous day began with a forbidden treat of strawberry jam, much to Aunt Polly's dismay. Instead of going to school, Tom opted for a swim, which Aunt Polly definitely didn't approve of. Later, he helped chop wood, finally fulfilling Aunt Polly's wishes. After an exciting day filled with dirt and adventure, Tom came home looking messy and faced Aunt Polly's demand for a bath. Exhausted after his long day, Tom was finally sent to bed, reflecting on all his escapades.

  3. Tom started the day eating strawberry jam.

  4. Aunt Polly did not want Tom to eat strawberry jam.

  5. Then Tom was supposed to go to school.

  6. Aunt Polly wanted Tom to go to school.

  7. Tom went swimming instead of going to school.

  8. Aunt Polly did not want Tom to go swimming.

  9. Tom helped Aunt Polly chop wood.

  10. Aunt Polly wanted Tom to help chop wood.

  11. Tom went out after dinner. Tom came home very dirty.

  12. Aunt Polly did not want Tom to get so dirty.

  13. Aunt Polly made Tom take a bath.

  14. Then Aunt Polly told Tom to go to bed. Tom had a long, adventurous day.
