  1. The Simpsons Story Board Assignment Central theme: Comedy Plot: Lisa discovers a new bully at school whilst Homer devises a business plan to make money off child care. Main Characters: Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, and Francine (bully). Style: Third person, animated, comedy. Technical Considerations: Animation/cartoon, 20 mins 30 secsin length A collective stick/picture hybrid.

  2. Scene #1 • Scene Action: Lisa, and Bart Simpson are introduced, seen here, as they watch itchy and scratchy. Other main characters added in the scene are Homer and Marge Simpson. • Camera Angle: Medium shot.

  3. Scene #2 • Scene Action: Marge, the mother of Bart and Lisa, rushes Bart and Lisa through their chores so they can catch the bus. • Camera Angle: Full shot.

  4. Scene #3 • Scene Action: Marge catches the bus just in time for Bart and Lisa to be introduced to the “new kid” Francine. • Camera Angles: Three quarter shot.

  5. Scene #4 • Scene Action: Marge and Homer, Marge’s husband, learn of the “dangers” that are all around a child in today’s society. • Camera Angle: Half Shot

  6. Scene #5 • Scene Action: Homer decides to provide baby protection for both profit and safety. • Camera Angle: Wide angle.

  7. Scene #6 • Scene Action: In this scene Lisa recognizes how lonely Francine seems and feels she should welcome her. • Camera Angle: Full shot
