  1. Marvel Worldwide, Inc, commonly referred to as Marvel Comics and formerly Marvel Publishing, Inc. and Marvel Comics Group, is an American company that publishes comic books and related media. In 2009, The Walt Disney Company acquired Marvel Entertainment, Marvel Worldwide 's parent company, for $4.24 billion. Marvel started in 1939 as Timely Publications, and by the early 1950s had generally become known as Atlas Comics.

  2. Spider-man While attending a lab demonstration（实验室演示）on the safe handling（安全处理） of nuclear waste（核废料）, Peter Parker was bitten by a common house spider that had been inflicted （已遭受）with radioactive rays（放射线）. This freak（反常） occurrence gave Parker, who was a teenager at the time, the proportionate speed and strength of a spider. （和蜘蛛一样的速度和力量）

Iron-man A genius billionaire playboy philanthropist（慈善家）--Tony Stark suffers a severe chest injury during a kidnapping in which his captors（俘虏者） attempt to force him to build a weapon of mass destruction. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif（图形）, and is armed with an shieldthat can be thrown as a weapon.

THOR the character is based on the god Thor Odinson of Norse mythology（北欧神话） god of war Odin’s son Asgard （亚斯格特/仙宫） As the Norse god of Thunder, Thor can cause these weather effects (storm; lightning; rain; wind; snow) all over the world and destroy entire buildings by whirling（旋转） his hammer（铁锤 named Mjolnir） he can also lift entire buildings with the wind.

  6. HULK A physicistDr. Bruce Banner is accidentally exposed to the blast（冲击波）of a test detonation（爆炸） of a gamma bomb he invented. Subsequently（随后）, Banner will transform into the Hulk, a giant, raging（愤怒的）, humanoid（像人的） monster, when he get angry.

Avengers Marvel's The Avengers is a 2012 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, produced by Marvel Studio and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures . In the film , Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, and Thor to form a team that must stop Thor's brother Loki from subjugating Earth.

  8. X-Men The X-Men are a team of mutantsuperheroes in the Marvel Universe .The basic concept of the X-Men is that under a cloud of increasing anti-mutant sentiment, Professor Xavier created a haven at his Westchestermansion to train young mutants to use their powers for the benefit of humanity, and to prove mutants can be heroes. Xavier recruited Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast, and Marvel Girl, calling them "X-Men" because they possess special powers due to their possession of the "X-gene," a gene which normal humans lack and which gives mutants their abilities.
