  3. ARNG Medical Mission • Support the Commander’s need for force projection • Provide medically ready forces to deliver combat power • Maximize limited resources to achieve the highest level of medical readiness • Support the State and Federal mission with medically ready Soldiers

  7. Future Goals? • Army feels important metric is MR 1 & 2 • DoD FMR goals align closely with MR 1 is 82% • FY 13 goal: 82 % • FY 14 goal: 85% • Expect ARNG Goals to rise

Summary • ARNG has the highest medical readiness it has ever had in history • However, we are not yet at our final goal • Expect to see new goals align with OSD Total Force Medical Ready Goal of 85% • The ARNG is in best position to reach this goal • Changes to iDES will serve our Soldiers and give them them the care they deserve

Summary • The medical case management (MCM) team is the front line of ARNG medical readiness • Since starting contract MCM in 2009 we have grown from 108 to 574 MCM personnel • Medical Readiness has improved respectively from 46% in 2009 to 82 % today • You are extremely important to our future
