WebPLUS Changes • Data Element Revisions • ZIP+4 and Web Address – deleted • Local and Other Databases - combined • Data Element Definition Changes/Clarifications • OPAC requirement removed in Collections • Legal Basis Code includes 501(c) designation • Electronic Materials Expenditures includes audio video downloadables • Other Materials Expenditures includes audio video physical • Registered ‘Borrowers’ changed to ‘Users’ • ILL excludes loans within same ‘Library Administration’ (AE) • Uses (Sessions) for ‘Library’s’ Internet Computers (not WIFI access)

  3. WebPLUS Changes • Import file specifications • Administrative Entity and Outlet files • Data element deletions/changes • Annotations File – No changes to format • Import Excel • Edit changes • Updated edit bound parameters • Local/Other Databases – CY to PY • New FSCS definition edits

  6. WebPLUS Planned Changes • Run Tables • Tables will run when edit report runs • Structure changes on AE and Outlet data screens

Reminders • WebPLUS Edits versus Internal Edits • Internal edits are used by Census for possible follow-up. • States can have vendors program internal edits for libraries to annotate during collection. • Internal edits are not run by the SDC’s in the WebPLUS collection software. • Internal edits are run by Census during post-collection editing.

  8. Reminders • Review and correct outlet addresses and phone numbers. • Import your edit report after adding annotations. • Use the Compare Tool for data editing.
