  2. General Contractors and Subcontractors Must ensure that construction sites are safe for workers. Must warn workers of possible construction site hazards and hazards in the work they are performing. Must ensure that work is being performed safely. Are responsible for hiring competent employees and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  3. Have a duty to keep and maintain the property in a reasonably safe condition. Property Owners

  4. Architects and Engineers  Must meet safety standards in their designs. Must ensure that their plans are not defective. Must ensure compliance with plans and details of the construction, and perform site inspections to ensure compliance with code regulations.

  5. Manufacturers of Construction Machinery or Equipment  • Must ensure that their machinery is safe for use.
