  6. 2. Prokaryotes: • Smaller and simpler than eukaryotes • Have no nucleus • Have no membrane-bound organelles • Include the Eubacteria and Archaebacteria kingdoms

  7. 3. Eukaryotes: • Larger and more complex than prokaryotes • Have a nucleus • Have membrane-bound organelles • Include the Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia kingdoms

  8. 4. Unicellular: • Organisms made of only one cell • Uni = one • Include the Archaebacteria, Eubacteria, Protista, and Fungi kingdoms

  9. 5. Multicellular: • Organisms made of two or more cells • Multi = many • Include the Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia kingdoms

  10. 6. Autotrophs:a. Organisms that can produce their own food by using sunlight or chemical energy

Word Wall Activity • Write the assigned vocabulary word at the top of your paper • Draw a picture below to describe the definition of the word (make it BIG) • We will decide which picture best represents the word and put it on the Word Wall.
