  6. Make small indention with Skew

  9. Drill ¼” Hole 1” Deep

  10. Hollow with 1” Round Nose Scraper

  11. Measure Inside With “Template”

  12. Instructions for making Template (2) Wooden Tongue Depressors (Hobby Lobby) (1) Steel Washer 1-3/8” OD Hot Glue Gun

  13. 1- 3/8” OD Steel Washer

  14. Hot Glue Steel Washer to Tongue Depressor

  15. Layout 8 holes with awl on outside line

  16. Nice Work Bill, Now drill them…

  17. Drill 8 holes ½” deep with 3/32” drill bit

  18. Repeat the procedure on the other half. Then glue halves together.

  19. Align Grain and Glue Halves Together.

  20. 1-3/8” ID

  21. Turn ball round maintaining consistent wall thickness

  22. RoughShape and Part Off

  23. Use ¼” Tenon to Friction drive ball

  24. Rotate ball between centers to Finalize Shape

  25. Turn grooves in ball with skew or three point tool. 1 / 4” to 3/8”

  26. Darken Grooves
