  16. How will I study? • Plan out your time - you have between 3-8 years to complete the programme. • Study independently or with support from a local teaching institution. • Allow 25 study hours a week to complete in three years – or less to pace your studies over longer period.

  20. What will I study cont… The programmes then splits into four strands: For each of these strands you study four advanced level subjects and four specialist level subjects. You can choose from a wide range of subject options.

How can I develop management skills? • You gain a comprehensive understanding of management concepts, practices and how to apply them. • Studying develops analysis and problem solving skills. • Planning your studies develops organisational skills. • Assignments help you structure arguments, gather evidence and critique received wisdom. • You can learn to work in a group by participating in online seminars. • You may practice managing meetings by chairing online group discussions.

Is distance learning right for me? • Study whenever and wherever is convenient to you, and fit your studies in around other commitments. • Study and sit exams wherever you live, even if you have to move with your job. • You must be highly motivated and self-disciplined, and able to master complex problems independently. • It’s challenging, but the outcome is very rewarding and improves confidence and self-esteem.

  26. What is a recognised centre? We have a growing network of 70+ independent teaching institutions worldwide that are formally recognised by the University of London International Programmes to provide tuition support for our students. • These recognised centres have been identified as meeting a specific set of quality criteria. • Standards are regularly monitored by the University of London International Programmes. • Two categories of recognised centre: Affiliate and Registered.

  31. Am I eligible? You normally need to be at least 17 years old and have the equivalent of: • GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level English or test of proficiency AND Two subjects at GCE ‘A’ level plus at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level (minimum grade C) See www.londoninternational.ac.uk/busadmin or the prospectus for all options.

Graduating from the University of London International Programmes • Final diploma shows you were registered with the University of London and awarded a University of London degree. • Final Diploma does not give name of any teaching institution. • Graduates can attend the University of London Graduation Ceremony in London or a local Graduation Ceremony where this is offered.
