The #ENDviolence Against Children campaign aims to raise awareness about child marriage, showing that it's not just a rural issue but one affecting urban communities too. Through powerful initiatives like the "Baap Waali Baat" song, featuring prominent figures, we encourage men to support the dignity and rights of girls. We invite partners to join us in promoting this campaign as part of your CSR efforts. Together, we can drive change, challenge societal norms, and create a safer future for our children. The time to act is now!

#ENDviolence Against Children #ItStartsWithMe
We are largely bystanders, onlookers, deriving pleasure from others’ misery or just retracting back to our shells for fear of societal taboo and being outcast. We love passing the buck to others. It’s always “You should…”, “Government must…” “Society won’t…” Breaking away from social messages that position themselves as experts and transfer the onus of action to everyone out there, this campaign’s umbrella theme will cut across the Us and Them divide and talk in the first person. I can #ENDviolence because #ItStartsWithMe!
What Are We Trying To Do? • Sensitize the Urban crowd to the issue of Child Marriage • Tell them that it isn't something that happens only in villages, but also in cities. For eg. house help, drivers etc. • Drive them positively impact, educate and dissuade when they hear/see a case of child marriage
How Do We Do That? • Attaching famous faces to the campaign • Break-open the tagline #ItStartsWithMe • Launching the asset ‘Baap Waali Baat’ song with a star-studded bang – on the Day of the Girl Child
The song is one of hope, of a good father, a positive role model and talks about how if you don’t get your daughter married off before she is marriageable age and let her study, then ‘yeh hui na Baap Waali Baat!’ The objective is to challenge people’s thinking about issues like violence against girls, protection of girls’ rights, their dignity and safety in the community and to evoke a sense of pride amongst men who stand up for the dignity and equal rights of girls in their local area.
What we are asking of you? To get on board as partners and lend us some of your resources to promote this song as part of your CSR initiatives. In return we host you as partners on the big launch of the song, through the campaign, on our campaign site and in the press release. And, hopefully form an association that is long-term and gainful.
#ENDviolence Against Children is a movement that we are going to continue to give impetus to, and hope you would like to become a part of. With the high rate of crime against children and women, it is important that we as a society do something about it. And the time to take action is now! #ItStartsWithMe
During our last campaign on Sanitation, we created a section with the logos of our partners on the campaign site: www.poo2loo.com We talked about our partners on our Social Media Channels and in Press Releases:
The campaign and partners associated got international coverage all over the world – the biggest media channels talked about us in USA, Canada, France, Europe, China.
And more than 1.5 million people watched the poo2song and the other campaign videos!!
With our knowledge of the issue & your reach to the people of this country, we can take the message of #ENDviolence far and wide. Together, we can tell people #ItStartsWithMe We look forward to hearing from you!
