JCECE 2018 Application Form: Registration, Dates, Steps to Apply JCECE 2018 Application Form (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is expected to be available from 2nd week of April 2018. Approximately one month of time will be provided for the application process by the organising authority. JCECE 2018 is likely to be held in May 2018. JCECE Application can be filled via online mode only on their official website.  The Application Form will be available for a period of one month only, i.e. from 2nd week of April till 2nd week of May.  After successful registration, one can download JCECE Admit Card two weeks before the exam commences. Information related to hall ticket will be intimated on the registered email and mobile number.  JCECE 2018 exam will be in 3rd week of May. (Tentative)  The application fees vary according to the different entrance courses.  Candidate should fill only one form. More than one form will not be entertained.  JCECE is a State level entrance exam conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (J.C.E.C.E.B). Students who want to take admission in B.Tech, Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc and A.H.), and Agriculture and Forestry courses can apply for JCECE 2018. Last date to fill JCECE 2018 Application Form 2nd week of May, 2018 JCECE 2018 Admit Card will be issued on 2 weeks before the exam JCECE 2018 is scheduled for 3rd week of May, 2018 JCECE 2018 Result Declaration 4th week of May, 2018 JCECE 2018 Eligibility Criteria Check JCECE eligibility criteria before filling the application form: Domicile Requirement: The candidate must be a permanent/local resident of Jharkhand state. Candidates must have the Local Residential Certificate issued by the authority by Government of Jharkhand. For Engineering: Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.  Subjects: Must qualify Class XII exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical as vocational subject.  Minimum Marks: Candidates should obtain at least 45% marks for General (40% for candidate belonging to reserved category) in all subjects.  Appearing candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply but they have to pass it before the date of counselling.  For Agriculture and Forestry: Qualifying Exam: Candidate must pass I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination.  Subjects: Candidates must have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects.  Appearing candidates: Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply given that they will have to pass the previous exam before the date of counselling. 

For Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.): Qualifying Exam: It is necessary to pass Intermediate or equivalent exam from any recognized board/university.  Subjects: Must pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subject.  Appearing candidates: Final year candidates can also apply.  B.Tech No criteria for age provided Agriculture & Forestry Between 17-22 (on July 1 of exam year) SC/ST 3 years relaxation on maximum age Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc and A.H.) Minimum age must be 17 years on December 31, 2018 JCECE 2018 Application Fee The application fees according to the different entrance courses are given below: SUBJECTS General/BC-1/BC-2 SC/ST PCM Group INR 900 INR 450 PCB Group INR 900 INR 450 PCMB Group INR 1000 INR 500 Candidates have to pay mandatory application fee.  Payment of application fee can be submitted through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or Bank Challan. 

Application fee can also be paid through Demand draft made in favor of “Controller of Examination, JCECEB” payable at Ranchi.  Application fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.  Payment Issues: If the payment made is not reflected in first go, one should not make another payment immediately. It is advised to wait for two days, and check the form status and fee payment has been successful. If it is not successful, only then another payment should be made. If any extra payments are received by the conducting institution, it will be automatically refunded. For Filling JCECE 2018 Application Form There are a few documents that must be kept ready in the specified format before starting JCECE Registration. The following information/documents are required while filling the form: Personal details –Name, DOB, Mobile No., Email ID, Parent’s Name and No.  Candidate’s Address – for communication purpose with PIN Code  Scanned image of photograph (50 kb clicked in white background)  Scanned image of signature (50 kb)  Scanned image of left-hand thumb impression (50 kb)  Scanned image of category certificate (50 kb)  ID Proof (Anyone from Aadhar number, voter’s ID, PAN number, Driving License or Passport)  Bank details for online payment.  How to Fill JCECE 2018 Application Form? The candidate has visit the official website of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB)  After that, go to examination option and choose J.C.E.C.E  Then click on the JCECE Application Form.  Fill all the details in the application form and upload all the necessary documents correctly.  Click on the submit button  Pay the fees of the application form. 

Candidate can save the application form for further use.  The registration window is open from April 2018-May 2018.  Note: In case an applicant fills the form with erroneous information in his/her first attempt, the conducting board doesn’t provide second chance to correct the information and your application will be rejected. Step Wise Guidelines Step 1: Visit official website and Register Visit the University website.  Click on the link, “Apply for JCECE”.  New candidates have to click on “Apply for JCECE.” Registered users can enter their Application Number and Password to log in.  STEP 2: Fill up the Application Form with Requisite Information After login, candidates have to fill the following particulars: Personal details- Name, Parents’ Name, Category, Gender, Nationality etc  Academic Details- 10th Board and CGPA, 12th Board and percentage, Name of school, Year of passing etc  Mailing Address and Guardian details- Applicants have to enter their address of correspondence or residence. Additionally, they have to fill the details of their parents’ occupation, income etc.  STEP 3: Upload Documents of Prescribed Sizes Candidates are suggested to upload documents of requisite size. 

The size of the photograph and signature should not be more than 50 KB and the images should of .jpeg format.  A unique application number will be generated and the candidate should note that for future login and reference.  Upload the required photographs:  Documents required in the application form: Mark sheets of 10th and 12th class  DOB Certificate  Category Certificate  Character Certificate  Proof of Permanent Address  Domicile Certificate (if required).  Photograph of JPEG format which should be of 50Kb  Signature of Candidate in JPEG format of size 50 Kb.  Photograph of Left hand thumb print in JPEG of size 50 KB.  STEP 4: Pay the Application Fee The payment can be done in the following two ways:  1.Online Mode- Debit card, Net Banking, credit card. 2.Offline Mode- E-challan If one chooses the e-challan option, they have to print out the online generated e- challan and pay the fee in favor of “Controller of Examination, JCECEB” payable at Ranchi.  After the payment is successful, candidates need to obtain a copy of acknowledgment page and keep a hard copy for future reference.  Details in Application Form Follow the details given below while filling the application form: Details Asked Filling Criteria

Can I apply for B.V.Sc & AH course? Answer: No, you are not eligible to apply. Question 2: Can I fill more than one JCECE 2018 application form? Answer: Candidate should fill only one application form. More than one form will be rejected. Question 3: It is necessary to have the domicile of Jharkhand state? Answer: Yes, without valid domicile of Jharkhand state, you cannot appear in the JCECE entrance examination. Question 4: In case, a student does not appear in the exam due to some reason. Will the application fee be refunded? Answer: Application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. Question 5: I've entered some wrong entries in the application form. Can I correct it? Answer: No, you cannot make any corrections in the JCECE 2018 application form. Fill all the details carefully because no changes will be permitted after submission of the application form. Question 6: What would be the Application Form Fee for JCECE?

  9. Answer: The Application Form Fees to JCECE is different for each science group and caste. Question 7: I am a resident of Jharkhand but I passed Class XII from West Bengal. Am I eligible for JCECE? Answer: Yes, you can apply for JCECE 2018. You must be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand to apply for the exam.
