By Abby and Barb. PANDORA. One day Zeus was so angry at Prometheus, for giving people fire, he was also mad at people who had tricked him into taking the wrong bag of meat. Zeus got back at the people by getting Hephaestus to make a beautiful women, whom he named Pandora which means gift.

  2. One day Zeus was so angry at Prometheus, for giving people fire, he was also mad at people who had tricked him into taking the wrong bag of meat

  3. Zeus got back at the people by getting Hephaestus to make a beautiful women, whom he named Pandora which means gift.

  4. Zeus sent her to earth, and gave her as a present to Prometheus’s brother, Epimetheus. Zeus told him he should marry Pandora. Also Zeus sent Pandora with a little box with a lock on it.

  5. He said not to open it, and gave the key to Epimetheus. But she was very curious about what was in the box.

  6. ‘’Please allow me to open the box.’’ pleaded Pandora ‘’No, Zeus gave me the key in trust to not give to you.’’ Epimetheus replied with frustration.

  7. Finally one day Epimetheus fell asleep and Pandora was able to sneak in and get the key. Once she had the key she opened the box. ‘’OH NO!!!!!!’’ yelled Pandora with terror. Out of the box flew all sorts of trouble that people never knew about.

  8. Sickness, worries, crimes, hate, and envy and all sorts of bad things. All of these bad things flew away like little bugs all over the place. SICKNESS WORRIES CRIME HATE ENVY

  9. “I’m so sorry, now that the box is open it’s to late I let everything out!’’ she said to herself. They all flew away but the very last thing that flew out of the box as she cried was not an ugly thing, it was hope. Which Zeus sent to keep people going when all the nasty things got out. • HOPE

  10. Pandora is known by the goddess who opened the box and let all the bad things out.
