Mount Royal University is committed to fostering an environment free from discrimination and harassment based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We aim to raise awareness and challenge the silence that marginalizes LGBTTIQ individuals. Research shows alarming rates of alienation, harassment, and discrimination, alongside increased risks for suicide. Our goal is to ensure every individual feels safe and respected on campus. By addressing these issues, we can create a more inclusive community that values diversity and promotes respect for all.
