System Features & Benefits New Mexico Secretary of State • Comply with the Campaign Reporting Act (1-9-25 to 1-19-36 NMSA 1978), as it reads at the time of the signing of this project charter, including: a)all required reporting forms are available to be submitted electronically and b) public inspection of electronic reports is enabled. • Allow filers of electronic campaign reports to file their reports easily and efficiently. System Features & Benefits • Add features necessary for the electronic filing system that will allow the Agency to administer its own system and to make appropriate changes as required to support changing political and time conditions as predicated by legislation and executive order. • Eliminate as much manual entry and mail distribution of candidate filings. • Process electronic signatures where possible and under the mandate of legislation to eliminate constant notarization requirements of the current system. • Allow all candidates and committees to do their data entry online with the ability to amend their data and their reports providing an audit trail of amended transactions.
