  2. Transportation Headlines Location & Design Public Hearing • Route 28 (Linton Hall Road to Fitzwater Drive) • Wednesday, April 25, 2012 • 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm • Patriot High School 10504 Kettle Run Road Nokesville, VA 20181

  3. University Boulevard PPTA(Prince William Parkway to Sudley Manor Drive) Accomplishments • Hornbaker Road design has been completed and approved by VDOT • University Boulevard design has been approved Issues • R-O-W negotiations with adjacent developments Timeline • Construction activities began in January 2012 on Hornbaker Road with majority of activities starting in the Spring of 2012 • Construction to be complete by December 26, 2013

Route 1 – Joplin to Bradys Hill Accomplishments • Project activities and billing are 89% complete • Median work with stamped concrete and grass is 60% complete • Paving is ongoing and is 70% complete Issues • Timing of Inn Street connection Timeline • Construction on-schedule for completion June 2012

Route 28 (Linton Hall Road to Fitzwater Drive) Accomplishments • Design has initiated with survey work underway • Citizen Information Meeting held on October 11, 2011 • Project Value Engineering has been completed • Environmental Assessment Document approved Issues • Construction phasing to expedite completion • Impacts to septic fields and R-O-W acquisition Timeline • Public Hearing scheduled for April 25, 2012 • Anticipated Final Construction Plans – January 2013 • Construction Advertisement for Phase I (Linton Hall Road to Realigned Vint Hill Road) anticipated for Spring 2013 • Phase II to follow contingent on funding availability

  8. Fuller Rd./Fuller Heights Rd. (Quantico Marine Corps Base Entrance) Accomplishments • Coordination with Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ) regarding design concerns has been concluded • Environmental Permitting is completed • R-O-W and easement requested from MCBQ on 3/30/12 • R-O-W plans submitted to VDOT for authorization Issues • Maintenance of traffic during construction • Access Management waivers • Flood Plain and CLOMR/LOMR Requirements Timeline • R-O-W authorization from VDOT anticipated by Summer 2012

Telegraph Road Commuter Lot Accomplishments • Final grading activities ongoing for Phase I (Commuter Lot) • Temporary SWM activity is complete • Demolition of pavement is complete • Storm sewer pipes are 90% complete Issues • Coordinate with adjacent developers • Utility Relocations • Opening of Phase I Timeline • Lot construction (Phase I) scheduled for completion – August 31, 2012 • Final R-O-W plan approval for road improvements – February 2012 • Construction advertisement for road improvements (Phase II) – May 2012 • Construction for road improvements anticipated to be complete – Summer 2013

Old Bridge Road Pedestrian Improvements (Mohican Road to Dillingham Square) Accomplishments • Design of the project incorporating the VDOT Safety Project is in progress • Project is in coordination with VDOT Safety Project Issues • None Timeline • Construction is anticipated to start Fall 2012

Prince William Parkway (Old Bridge Road to Minnieville Road) Accomplishments • Preliminary Design/Build Plans completed by AMT • Project to be financed through Bond funding and use of State Revenue Sharing funds • RFP advertised – February 2012 Issues • R-O-W Impacts • Utility relocation Timeline • Bid opening on May 23, 2012 • Award Design/Build contract Summer of 2012

Rollins Ford Road Accomplishments • Design for roadway extension has been submitted to VDOT for approval Issues • Project construction will include two phases and two Notice To Proceeds (NTPs) • Improvements at Vint Hill Road to meet current standards • Coordination with Park Project Timeline • Advertisement for construction for roadway extension anticipated for Spring 2012

Accomplishments • Three unsolicited design-build proposals received for the project • Selection committee selected the firm of Lane Construction to move forward with project negotiation Issues • Project Funding • Waterline Construction Timeline • Award of design-build contract – Spring 2012

  16. Minnieville Road – Spriggs Rd. to Rte. 234 Accomplishments • Three unsolicited design-build proposals received for the project Issues • Selection committee rejected all PPTA proposals Timeline • Issuance of RFP for project design – Summer 2012

Mountain Road Improvements (Revenue Sharing/TRIP)(Bear Hollow Trail to Jackson Hollow Road) Accomplishments • Notice to Proceed has been issued to NOVEC • Project has been advertised for construction • R-O-W and easements have been acquired • Environmental Permit issued • Utility Relocation is in progress Issues • None • Maintenance of traffic during construction – Road closure during Summer months Timeline • Utility relocation completion anticipated by end of Spring 2012 with construction to follow • Bid opening on April 13, 2012

Logmill Road Improvements Accomplishments • Preliminary plan design is in progress • Project Day meeting with VDOT, JMT and PWC DOT held in November 2011 • Meeting held with property owners concerning grade at Parnell Court • Profile to proceed with balanced cut and fill for optimum construction Issues • Possible temporary road closure and management of traffic during construction Timeline • Intermediate Plan submission scheduled for Summer 2012 • Advertisement for construction – Spring 2013 • Construction completion anticipated for Fall 2013

Sidewalk –Bethlehem Church Rd. to Potomac Crest Dr. (TRIP) Accomplishments • R-O-W acquisition is completed • Construction by County forces is in progress Issues • Coordination during construction of sewer line • Drainage design affecting adjacent properties • Project Budget Timeline • Construction completion is anticipated in Summer of 2012

Hoadly Road Trail – Spriggs Road to Dale Boulevard (TRIP) Accomplishments • Plans submitted to VDOT • Comments received from VDOT and Development Services are being addressed Issues • R-O-W and easement constraints • Possible design waiver Timeline • Plans expected to be re-submitted to VDOT in April 2012

Gideon Drive Sidewalk – Dale Blvd. to Opitz Blvd. (TRIP) Accomplishments • Notice to Proceed with preliminary design has been issued to RDA • Task Order to RDA has been modified to accommodate use of Federal CMAQ funding on project for construction Issues • R-O-W and easement constraints • Utility Relocations Timeline • Preliminary design scheduled for submission to VDOT – May 2012
