  1. The state of New Hampshire has a uniform list of traffic fines for certain offenses. Here are the road behaviors that could end up costing you more than $100, or get you a court date, according to the department of transportation.

  2. $103.33 (for each offense)- failure to obey stop sign or yield sign, speeding 6-10 mph over a 65 mph limit, unregistered vehicle, yellow or solid line violation.

  3. $103.33(continued)-operating motorcycle without a license, following too closely, operating without a correct class of license, speeding 16-20 mph over 55 mph limit

  4. $103.33 (continued)- failure to obey officer directing traffic, coasting prohibited, failure to keep right at a one way or rotary, failure to stop at railroad signs (1st offense)

  6. $148.80-competivite bicycle or moped racing, carrying passengers in a truck, unlawful height width or length

  7. $155- misuse or failure to display plates, open container of alcohol, speeding 11-15 mph over 65 mph limit

  13. $310 (or appear in court)- speeding in a highway construction or maintenance zone

MUST APPEAR IN COURT- driving while intoxicated, allowing improper person to operate, failure to obey railroad signals (2nd offense in 12 months), failure to stop at railroad signals (2nd offense in 12 months), open container (2nd offense), operating without a valid license, original and youth operator’s license violation, reckless operation, speeding 21-25 over in a 55 mph or a 65 mph zone, speeding (existing road conditions), unlawful transportation or explosives, unlawful transportation of hazardous materials, vehicular assault, driving after revocation/ suspension
