Behavior Analysis After conducting a comprehensive assessment to determine “why” an individual exhibits a problem behavior, our therapists develop an individual plan to help reduce and/or eliminate the undesirable behavior. This plan is taught to the client, as well as, other persons that have contact with them. The list may include parents, caregivers, teachers, employers, etc.

Behavior Analysis • Consultation in residential treatment facilities such as group homes • Consultation in other community settings such as foster homes, adult day training programs, child daycare centers, and after school programs • Behavioral training at community job site • In-home sessions with parents to learn more effective behavior management strategies

Behavior Analysis, cont. • In-home sessions with children/consumers to teach basic skills and replacement behaviors • On-site sessions to teach new skills and promote generalization in public places • In school consultation to develop behavior management programs for the classroom • In school consultation to train teachers and paraprofessionals in applied behavioral analysis

  13. Mental Health Services Staff address psychological, social, medical, and vocational aspects of an individual’s life. Individual and families are able to make positive changes as a result of gaining insight into problems. Treatment methods in counseling therapy are guided by well developed theories and diagnoses.
