  2. Pamphlet holder Noticeboard Front entrance Hallway Director’s Office Receptionist’s area Children’s area Reception desk Children’s pockets and shelf with policy folder This Child Care Centre is located inside the TAFE building. The reception area is very small.

  3. Parenting SA PEGS Parenting SA PEGS available at the TAFE Children’s Centre. They are at the far end of the pamphlet holder so a parent would have to be either given them or they would have to walk past the front desk and into the receptionist’s area to have a closer look.

  4. National Simultaneous Storytime 2008 Date : Wednesday, 21 May 2008Time: 11:00 am These are the pamphlets, poster and booklet specifically about literacy.

  5. This section was on the glass pane next to the front door. There is no title to explain the sections. All the photos are of the children who attend the child care.

  6. These three pamphlets were available. They can also be downloaded from this website: http://www.dest.gov.au/sectors/school_education/publications_resources/literacy_numeracy/numeracy_families_working_it_out_together.htm The website also provides the same pamphlets in 15 different languages, none of which were available at the TAFE Child Care Centre.

  7. Multilingual material: This was the only multi-lingual material that I could see. While I was there, a Sudanese (Nuer) father brought his daughter in to child care. I couple from a non-English speaking background (possibly Arabic speakers) came in with their daughter to let the Child care know the dates that their daughter will be coming back to child care as they were going away.

  8. This display is located on the wall behind the recioption desk

  9. This ‘Child Care Clients Information Board’ is located outside the child care centre and in the hallway opposite the front door. There are Centacare notices that are also available at Local kids Ridgehaven.

  10. Bright glossy posters are located high on the wall above the pamphlet holder. They are generic looking pictures, probably of US origins.

  11. SACSA Educational program for the kindy room

  12. Advertising schools
