In August 2004, the pontoon and walkway at Moggill were proudly built, enhancing the river’s beauty. This collection captures the journey of the pontoon, from construction to the devastating floods that reshaped the landscape. The images illustrate the cleared bank, the strong pylons supporting the walkway, and the serene view upriver, all culminating in the pontoon's final voyage to Moreton Bay. The aftermath of the floods left extreme devastation on the opposite bank and the riverbank near the pontoon area, highlighting nature's power and beauty.
