RECOMMENDATIONS • IN MANY CASES THE PROBLEM REQUIRES A RESPONSE THAT TRANSCENDS NATIONAL AND EVEN REGIONAL BOUNDARIES, EG DEPORTING COUNTRIES SHOULD FUND REINTEGRATIVE PROGRAMS FOR DEPORTEES LIVING IN THEIR COUNTRIES AS A CHILD- DUE TO THE FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS OF C´BEAN COUNTRIES. • C´BEAN IS TRANSHIPMENT POINT- THERE SHOULD BE STRONG DEMAND REDUCTION IN CONSUMER COUNTRIES. Recommendations • CRIME IS A SOCIAL AND DEVELOPMENT ISSUE-THEREFORE –NEED FOR GREATER INPUTS FROM GOVTS, CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS AND C´BEAN EXPERTS AS A TEAM TO WORK ON VIABLE SOLUTIONS. • NEED FOR MORE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS. • NEED FOR COMPREHENSIVE YOUTH HEALTH PROGRAMS. (EARLY IDENTIFICATION OF AT RISK CHILD- INTERVENTION PROGRAMS. Alleyne 2013 Police Cooperation Mexico

  14. Recommendations-Regionally MORE COLLABORATION BET. LATIN AMERICA AND THE C´BEAN. (NOTED SUCCESS OF COLUMBIA IN THE REDUCTION OF THEIR HOMICIDES. LESSONS LEARNT) SOME C´BEAN COUNTRIES NEED TO URGENTLY IMPROVE THEIR CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. (LONG DELAYS ON MATTERS, PROCESSES BURDENSOME). NEED FOR GUN COURTS AND SWIFTER JUSTICE.
