  3. The importance of our mission • Our mission is continuation of Jesus mission • on earth Matt. C28 v19-20 - So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptise them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age.” (NCV)

The importance of our mission • Our mission is a wonderful privilege 2 Cor. c5 v18 – And God has given us the privilege of urging everyone to come into his favour and be reconciled to him (LB) 2 Cor. c6 v1 - We are workers together with God (NCV) 2 Cor. c5 v20 - We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: (MSG)
