  2. Monday, October 3rd • Put the date! Copy these notes in your DWL section. • Prepositional Phrases • A word that ends a prepositional phrase (du-du-du) may be a noun (person, place, or thing) or a pronoun (him, her, me, them, us). This word is called the object of a preposition. • Finish each sentence with an object of a preposition. • Lina is friends with ___________. • Lina delivers messages throughout the ______.

  3. Tuesday, October 4th Cross out any prepositional phrases (du-du-du). Underline the subject once and the verb phrasetwice. Label each object of the preposition with O.P. above it. o.p. Ex) Her dogis running beside the car. • His sister was standing on her head. • I am leaving with Kim and Alex. • My father is going to Austin or Dallas. • We spoke with the principal.

  4. Wednesday, October 5th Cross out any prepositional phrases. Underline the subject once and the predicate twice. Label each object of the preposition O.P.o.p. Ex) Her dogis runningbeside the car. • Has Ted eaten at that restaurant? • My friends went to a movie after school. • They leaned against the lockers. • We ran with the puppies.
