  3. The Problem

  4. Key Objective Provide a Team with a place they can use to find and store information while staying organized and working together.

  5. The Situation We're a small group handling some repetitive and other very unique tasks. Repetitive tasks tend to be forgotten. Unique tasks are hard to keep organized. It is important that as a team we're able to account for the work that we do together and individually. We have a lot of information that we need to retain for future projects and tasks.

  6. The Solution

  7. Vibe Components Leveraged Wiki: Store frequently accessed knowledge that is shared as a team. Allows for dynamic updates and editing. Discussion: Provides the team with forum areas to discuss issues that arise. These topics can be referenced quickly by any member of the team. Files: Team members can use this folder to store, version, manage, and organize important team documents. Tasks: Team leadership can create and assign tasks that will appear on the users calendar. Workflow: using this built in workflow tool, the team can now automatically manage new issues that come up. Landing Page: Dashboard for a consolidated view of information.

  8. Putting the Pieces Together Team Management: Creating our team. Notifying the Team: Sending notifications through workflow, or manually by entry/folder/workspace. Updating Information: Users in this case can edit each others entries to keep them as accurate and current as possible. Team Document Editing: Leverage document editing, views, notes, comments, and versions to keep files current. Email Submissions: Create an email address for the folder to allow entries to be generated by electronic submission.

  9. Resolved Business Issues

  10. Resolved Business Issues The team can now work together on project items. Increased accountability through tasks, notifications, and workflow. Centralized and searchable resource for past and present knowledge. Shared information, knowledge, files, and more. All wrapped up in a clean and clear dashboard view.
