  4. Long Term • reduction of sex hormone levels • lung, liver, kidney and brain damage • collapsed veins from injecting the drug

  5. Street Names • Heroin • "horse", "smack", "chiva", "black tar", and "junk“ • Morphine • - “Dreamer” “God’s Drug” “Morpho”

  6. Important Information • - Derived from opium plant • - Medicinal use - to relieve pain • - Only legally obtainable by prescription
