  2. PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING ONLINE • Unique application I.D. & Password is provided alongwith a book. This is the I.D. you will be using for your LOGIN. • It is advised that you change your password as soon as you go on-line. DO NOT FORGET YOUR LOGIN ID AND PASSWORD.

  3. M M R stands for Mumbai Metropolitan Region. • Please read very carefully page 83 onwards before starting to fill in the form on-line. It is advised that you first practice on a hard-copyfilling in all the details like College Code, Subjects, etc.

  4. Basic differences for S.S.C. & other Board students for filling in the on-line admission form : • Student will fill up the form on-line. • Will take a hard copy of the filled form.

  5. Bring it to the school and submit to the school for verification. Principal will verify the form for any correction required. • At school level, all corrections will be done along with student. • Form will be submitted by the Principal’s I.D. for further processing.

  6. After the Principal submits the form, 2 copies will be printed One copy will be retained by the School and the other copy will be given to the student. • This admission will not cover MCVC, Home Science, Management Quota. Admission for Technical Subjects will not be done on-line.

  7. Admission for the above will be done by the Principals of the respective Junior Colleges at their level. • Admission to Night Junior Colleges shall be done by the Principals of the respective colleges. • ATKT admissions will be done after completion of on-line admission.

  8. RULES OF ADMISSION • Only S.S.C., I.C.S.E., C.B.S.E. and equivalent examinations are eligible for admission in Std. XI. • For Science stream, students should secure minimum 40% in Science subjects.

  9. No interview or tests will be taken prior to admission. • Students opting for General Maths in Std. IX & X can apply for Std. XI Science, Arts or Commerce, but are not eligible for bi-focal and technical group.

  10. WHAT IS BI-FOCAL ? • In Science stream, bi-focal subjects are Electronics, Computer Science, etc. • In Commerce stream, bi-focal subjects are Banking, etc. These subjects can be opted for by students.

  11. SPECIAL / RESERVED CATEGORY

  12. Any student wanting to apply under the Special / Reserved category, must have the relevant supporting documents, issued by competent authorities: OPEN CATEGORY 1. Marksheet 2. School Leaving Certificate

  13. SPECIAL RESERVATIONS 1. CONSTITUTIONAL RESERVATIONS Caste Certificate issued by Tehsildar.

  14. ARTS & CULTURE • Certificate from AkhilBharatiyaGandharvaMahavidyalaya. • Intermediate Drawing Certificate

  15. SPORTS – • Students should posess any one of the following certificates obtained while studying in classes VIII, IX or X : 1. Certificate showing student secured first or second place at District / State / National level, certified by District Sports Authority or Zonal Sports Authority.

  16. 2. Certificate showing that the student has won medals at Zonal Level or student has participated in National / State level competitions organized by Schools games associations or Indian Games authority, CERTIFIED BY THE DISTRICT SPORTS OFFICER OR ZONAL SPORTS Dy. DIRECTOR.

  17. 3. Certificate showing student has won medals at State Level or National Level for competitions organized by Associations which have been recognized by Indian Olympic Association, CERTIFIED BY DISTRICT OR ZONAL SPORTS Dy. DIRECTOR.

  18. 4. NCC / SCOUT STATE / NATIONAL LEVEL CERTIFICATE

  19. WARDS OF SERVICEMEN & EX-SERVICEMEN – • For servicemen, certificate issued by District Sainik Board, for ex-servicemen, Certificate and I.D. Card

  20. WARD OF FREEDOM FIGHTER • Students dependent on the Freedom Fighter and so-nominated by freedom fighter. Submit certificate issued by the district collector to that effect.

  21. HANDICAPPED – • Certificate showing at least 40% disability, issued by Civil Surgeon or by Medical Officer of any Govt. or Municipal Hospital • STUDENT HAVING L.D. must produce a certificate from the competent authority

  22. Student will have two chances to get admission of their choice. • Betterment option is available only once for upward mobility. • First list will be for bi-focal admissions and then for General. At the end will be ATKT. • List will be published on-line and students will receive admission results by SMS on their mobile.

  23. NOTE: • With bi-focal it is mandatory to select General Stream Science or Commerce. • If you choose two streams for admission, e.g. Science and Commerce, it is mandatory to give at least one college choice for the least selected streams.
