  4. Edge/ Life Teen Youth Ministry Model • Non Classroom Model • Emphasis on small groups • Uses a core group of adults to plan and pull off nights. • Very interactive! • Focus on relational ministry

  5. Edge/ Life Teen Youth Ministry Model • Gather, Proclaim, Break, & Send • Gather- Icebreaker, song, or some activity. • Proclaim- Main teaching for the night usually a talk done by the YM, core member, or guest. • Break- Breaking down what they’ve just heard. Usually in small groups or may do a prayer experience(adoration, confession, or stations) • Send- Wrap up and something tangible that they can take away from the night.

  6. Edge at St. John’s • An alternative to current middle school program. • Fall 2014 start with 7th and 8th graders • Meet twice a Month • Tuesdays 7:00-8:15

  8. Life Teen at St. John’s • Meet weekly following the 5:15 Youth Mass • 6:30-8:30 • One retreat per semester • Open Youth Room 5-7 currently Tuesdays (may change in the upcoming year)
