Intercession Shout 365

In Romans 8:22-27 and James 5:16, we learn about the significance of intercession in the midst of suffering and weakness.   2. Perfect Intercession • Paul has taken up the subject of Suffering. • 8:17-18 • All are in need of renewal to reach God’s intended purpose.

  3. Perfect Intercession • We are in a state of “Weakness”. • We don’t even have complete knowledge of that for which we should pray. • 1 Cor. 13:9,12

  4. Perfect Intercession • God has dedicated Himself to overcoming our weakness. • The Spirit “helps” us. • Luke 10:40

  5. Intercession Modeled • James instructs us to pray for one another. • Paul models this well for us. • Colossians 1: 3, 9-13

  6. Intercession Modeled • Our weakness needs to be overcome with knowledge of God’s will. • Obedience matters to God. (Col. 1:10) • John 14:21 • Life is a race that requires patient endurance.
