ECMPS • New XML reporting format and ECMPS Client Tool will be available for use starting first quarter 2008 • The new format will be required in 2009 • The client tool will be used to evaluate electronic reports before submittal to EPA • Both the files and feedback are sent to the EPA host system

  3. ECMPS Timeline • April 2 – June 29 – Beta testing Session 1 • July – Implement revisions to client tool based on initial phase of Beta testing • August 6 – September 28 – Beta testing Session 2 • 2008 – Transition year for existing sources, first year of ECMPS for all sources new to part 75 reporting. • 2009 – ECMPS required for all sources to submit data

  4. Reporting Instructions • Draft reporting instructions are posted • Draft reporting instructions for Hg data are also being posted • Note that some changes may result due to consideration of comments to the proposed rule
