  1. SETTING Time:It takes place around mid day Place:At the shed Situation:concreting the hole

  2. Shaun the sheep • Shaun is the Protagonist of the series and the leader of the flock. He is the clever sheep and keeps his head. He has a good friendship with his buddy, Bitzer. He and the flock are based on Suffolk sheep due to their white fleeces and black heads and legs.

  3. Bitzer • Bitzer is the farmer's long-suffering sheepdog and a good friend to Shaun. Bitzer does his best to keep Shaun's pals out of trouble

  4. Shirley • Shirley can be described as an eating machine. She's so big that she often gets stuck and needs the other sheep to push, pull or even sling-shot her out of trouble, even using heavy equipment at times.

  5. Timmy • Timmy is Shaun's cousin. He may be the baby of the flock, but is often at the centre of things. Luckily his mum is always there to keep him safe.

  6. Timmy's mum • Timmy's Mother wears curlers in her hair, and is a bit careless about maternal duties (even using Timmy once as some sort of a paint brush). But when her offspring goes astray, she is inconsolable until he is safely back in her care. She is also Shaun's aunt

  7. flock • The Flock are the one big happy (if slightly dopey) family: The sheep like to play and create mischief together, though it's usually Shaun and Bitzer who sort out the resulting mess.

  8. farmer • The Farmer runs the farm with Bitzer at his side. He is completely oblivious to the human-like intelligence (or even the stupidity) of his flock. He actually tells Pidsley off for being naughty sometimes.

  9. pigs • The Naughty Pigs are always trying to antagonize the Sheep and get them into trouble. They are, however, scared of Bitzer, who puts them in line. They are bullies to Shaun and his flock, and they got told off in "Pig Trouble" (Series 2) by the farmer.

  10. Pidsley • Pidsley is Shaun's nemesis. Pidsley, the cat, desires to be the sole recipient of the Farmer's attention. He is jealous of Blitzer's relationship with the farmer and dislikes the sheep, thinking of them as stupid and beneath him

  11. The Farmer is laying concrete and Bitzer is left to guard it while it dries, but the wet cement proves too much of a temptation for Shaun and the flock.

  12. As soon as they see the wet cement they think that they are allowed to step in it and make shapes

  13. The farmer lays down the concrete and tells the dog to guard it. • The sheep see it and decide to have fun with it • Bitzer then gets stuck in it trying to stop the sheep from eating his lunch
